God’s Prophesied People!

By David J. Smith
September 8, 2012

God has called certain people in advance of the remainder of the world. He has a purpose for this advanced calling. He is calling to prepare His people for son-ship in His kingdom. How does He look upon them right now?

Then they that feared the Lord spoke often one to another; and the Lord hearkened [listened], and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon His name. And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up My jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spares his own son that serves Him. Then shall you return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serves God and him that serves Him not” (Malachi 3:16-17).

God is calling people in advance to become kings and priests to serve in His kingdom when He will offer salvation to the remainder of the world. But first, what is He offering us today? Romans 8:26-29, “Likewise the Spirit also helps our infirmities; for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself makes intercession for us with groaning which cannot be uttered, v.27) And he that searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because he makes intercession FOR THE SAINTS according to the will of God. V.28) And we know that ALL THINGS work together for good to them that love God, to them who are THE called according to His purpose. V. 29) For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son [spirit composed body], that He might be the firstborn among MANY brethren.”

Predestinate in the Greek Strong’s Concordance literally means limited number in advance. God is calling certain people today, before the remainder of the world to prepare character for a “spirit composed body” to live and rule in God’s kingdom under Christ for 1,000 years. If you have been called today, you are a saint. Paul and the other writers of the New Testament greet the churches at various cities by calling them saints.

John wrote to the seven churches in Asia (Revelation 1:4). Then in verses 4-5, it was written: “And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead,, and the prince of the kings of the earth, Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood. And has made us KINGS and PRIESTS unto our God and His Father; to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.”

Those who have been forgiven of their sins and redeemed by Jesus’ shed blood will have a GREAT reward. They will be part of God’s special jewels in His kingdom. It reads in Revelation 5:10, And has made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.” God has selected some to become kings and priests to reign on the earth and bring salvation and hope to those who never had an opportunity for redemption.

In Malachi 3:18 it says WE shall return with our spirit body and discern those who have served God and those who have not. Revelation 20:4 states: “And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them; …” He went on to write in v. 6: “Blessed and holy is he that has part in the first resurrection: on such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.”

These promises were prophesied for the first ones to trust Christ. They are for those who are predestinated, or called first to believe they will be IN the kingdom of God. These are the real saints of God who will inherit rulership. This is proven by Daniel 7:18, “But THE SAINTS of the most High shall TAKE the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever, and ever.”

Notice Daniel 7:22, “Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the SAINTS of the most High: and the time came that THE SAINTS possessed the kingdom.” Daniel was inspired mightily by Jesus Christ. He prophesied of many events, but the last one in Chapter 7:27 verified his previous prophecy of the saints possessing the kingdom. V.27) “And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey Him.”

Those who believe that Jesus is the ONLY Savior and repents, are baptized, and receives the Holy Spirit and remains faithful have this opportunity also!!!
