Abraham’s Promises Expanded and Given to Joseph

The promises became unconditional when Abraham OBEYED God. God later appeared to Abraham’s son, Isaac, to reconfirm the promises (Genesis 26:1-3). Now notice the confirmation of the promises and that God would pass them on to Isaac. “And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries [in Palestine so far]; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed [through the “one seed” - Christ]; BECAUSE Abraham OBEYED my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and MY [Jesus Christ - the Lord’s] LAWS” (Genesis 26:5).

But Moses had already revealed a marvelous mystery that has been overlooked by religions today that profess Christianity and claim Abraham as their father - of the faithful. Rejoice at what Moses wrote for US! “When the Most High DIVIDED to the nations their inheritance [living territory], when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people ACCORDING to the number of the children of Israel” (Deuteronomy 32: 8).

God had a plan from the beginning that will show forth His greatness and man’s weakness in comparison. Before God spoke to Isaac to reconfirm the promises, God required of Abraham a most interesting test.

Abraham and his son of promise, Isaac, were to be a TYPE of God the Father and His Son of Promise, Jesus, the Savior. God told Abraham to take Isaac and offer him as a sacrifice - a type of what God the Father would later do for the sins of the world with His Son. Abraham did exactly as he was told - KNOWING that God made all these promises to him to be fulfilled through Isaac - his ONLY son and promise. The faith chapter - Hebrews 11 - shows Abraham believed God would raise Isaac from the dead if necessary to fulfill His promises of having millions of offspring and nations and kings coming from his loins.

Finally, God had this to say: “And said, By myself have I SWORN, saith the Lord, for BECAUSE thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thyson, thine only son: That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed [racial descendants] shall possess the GATE of his enemies; And in thy [one] seed [Jesus] shall ALL nations of the earth be blessed [grace]; BECAUSE thou hast OBEYED my voice” (Genesis 22: 16-18).

Isaac grew up and as all young men do, they turn their hearts toward the opposite sex. Abraham did not want Isaac to take a wife of the land where they now resided. He did not want him to be turned away after other gods. He sent his trusted servant back to his family to take a wife for Isaac. He prayed that God would send His angel before his servant to guide him to the chosen woman to be Isacc’s wife. Future generations would come from this marriage. God sent him directly to Rebekah. After an explanation from Abraham’s servant, the family gathered around to pronounce a blessing upon Rebekah.

That blessing would also agree with God’s promise already delivered to Abraham for not withholding his only son. “And they blessed Rebekah, and said unto her, Thou art our sister, be thou the mother of thousands of millions, and let thy seed possess the GATE of those which hate them” (Genesis 24: 60).

A gate is a stratgic passage way, whetheer it is a shipping lane or an overland route for trade between nations. God said the eventual descendants from Abraham, then Isaac, would possess these passage ways - such as the Suez Canal, the Panama Canal, and the Strait of Gibraltar. They would even possess these strategic locations of nations that considered them their enemies - such as Socialist/Communist countries.


George Herbert Walker Bush

The grip on the reins of the U.S. government possessed by the Insiders grew dramatically when George Bush entered the White House. Far from being an opponent of the powerful few who dictate America’s policies, Mr. Bush has been a longstanding member of the Insider clique, sometimes known simply as “The Establishment.”

A staff writer for the Washington Post wrote: “George Bush, in FACT, has been a dues-paying member of the Establishment, if it is succinctly defined as the Council on Foreign Relations AND the Trilateral Commission.” In his article, the writer noted that Mr. Bush severed his formal ties with both organizations in 1979. The Washington Post reporter sought comments about Mr. Bush’s twin resignations from David Rockefeller, the powerful Insider who had been chairman of both organizations when the future President began his quest for the White House.

Mr. Rockefeller told the Washington Post reporter in 1988: “Bush has the knowledge and has the background and has had the posts. If he were President, he would be in a better position than anyone else to pull together the people in the country who believe that we are in fact living in ONE WORLD and have to act that way....I don’t know what I would have done [about certain criticism for holding memberships in both the CFR and the TC]. I don’t think he really accomplished what he hoped. It was still used against him. He has since spoken to the Council and the Trilateral and has been FULLY SUPPORTIVE OF THEIR ACTIVITIES. Even though he has resigned, he hasn’t walked away from them” (Washington Post, Sidney Blumenthal, February 10, 1988).

Clearly, George Bush may have resigned formal memberships in the CFR and TC in 1979, but his heart was still with both organizations. On March 29, 1981, only nine weeks after he took the oath of office as Vice President, he addressed a Trilateral Commission meeting in Washington. The next day was to have been the occasion of a meeting of Trilateral officials with President Reagan in the Oval Office. But it had to be cancelled because of John Hinckley’s attempt on the President’s life that very morning (Rowland Evans and Robert Novak, “Bush and the Trilateral Commission,” St. Petersburg Times, April 12, 1981).

The Bush Path to the White House

There wasn’t much doubt that George Bush would receive the Republican nomination for President in 1988. For eight years, he had dutifully followed the lead set by President Ronald Reagan and all the Council on Foreign Relations appointees dominating that administration. How many CFR
members were part of the Reagan-Bush team? CFR Annual Reports for 1981 and 1988 show that in the early months of the Reagan Presidency, 257 CFRmembers held posts as U.S. government officials. By mid-1988, the number had risen to 313. Ronald Reagan was ultimately responsible for this growing CFR dominance, but George Bush was not complaining about it.

Good Republican soldier George Bush was even willing to suppress his stinging characterization of candidate Reagan’s 1980 economic plans as “voodoo economics.” The Reagan program called for increased defense spending and decreased taxation, all of which the former California governor claimed could be accomplished while still producing a balanced budget. Bush’s term for Reagan’s economics was true since the very first full year he was in office there was a $110 billion DEFICIT for fiscal 1982.

As a stalwart Insider, Bush dutifully bit his tongue and supported the piling up of huge deficits for the next generation to shoulder. How bad did it get? The average annual deficit for the eight years of the Reagan Administration exceeded $200 billion. The Reagan Administration promised fiscal responsibility. Yet, the Council on Foreign Relations members that Mr. Reagan placed in charge gave the nation exactly the opposite.

When the supposedly Republican conservatives took office in January 1981, the accumulated national debt amassed over the 200-year history of the United States stood at $935 billion. Then, on September 30, 1988, four months before the end of the last full fiscal year of the Reagan era, that DEBT had just about tripled and stood at $2 trillion $572 billion.

During those eight years, the United States went from being the world’s largest CREDITOR nation to becoming its largest DEBTOR nation. We were in worse shape than Mexico, Argentina and Brazil. The future of the American people and their nation was being mortgaged by the Insiders running the Reagan-Bush team, but George Bush’s political future dictated that he keep quiet about it. The Council on Foreign Relations/Insiders dominated media, which should have repeatedly reminded him of his “voodoo” remark, ignored the plunge into debt and gave the impression that there wasn’t anything anyone could or should do about it.

Why this conspiracy of silence? Because deficits leading to Socialist control of the American people was exactly what the Insiders wanted. No one knew this better than Vice President George Bush whose ties to the CFR and other Insider organizations were both numerous and unbroken.
