It is interesting that the original Order of the Illuminati, worshippers of Lucifer/Satan, was founded on May 1, 1776 in Bavaria, Germany by a Jesuit Priest by the name of Adam Weishaupt. He said he came to hate the Catholic Church and all religion.
His goal was to destroy all forms of government and religion in preparation for a World Government and World Religion. Did he really leave the Catholic Church, or was it a pretense to fool the Protestant Reformation? After all, the Catholic Church teaches that the pope has temporal power - the right to rule over every land surface on earth - world religion under the pope of Rome.
What have the previous four popes, not counting the one that ruled only 33 days, had in common, plus the newly elected pope? They all were instrumental in bringing the Catholic Church into the drive for a New World Order.
