There is a battle for the mind on a global scale. Satan knows well that the mind is how to capture the thoughts of man permanently. “For as he THINKS within himself, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7). William M. Bowen, Jr., educator for over 30 years, became so unnerved because of the way schools
were being run he wrote a book, Globalism – America’s Demise, to expose how the schools were being used as a tool to merge the United States into a world government. Certain quotes are from pages 35 to 58. “Education has been the MAJOR vehicle for changing the MIND set of America to accept a global initiative. The process has been GRADUAL but orchestrated. Examine any school material that concerns itself with FOREIGN AFFAIRS or INTERNATIONAL subject matter, and you will find the new global terminology of INTERDEPENDENCE has REPLACED the more familiar term international, which has itself replaced foreign policy. “On August 1, 1951, the 82nd Congress approved a committee to direct a thorough investigation of FOUNDATIONS. This committee was referred to as the Cox Committee. In its final report of January 1, 1955, the Cox Committee reported that a Moscow-directed, Communist plot existed to INFILTRATE American foundations and to use their funds for Communist purposes (See No. 2514, 82nd Congress, 2nd session).
“Congressman Reece, who served on the Cox Committee, believed that the committee was unable to complete its task and persuaded the 83rd Congress to set up another committee [the Reece Committee] to continue the investigations. Rene’ A Wormser served as counsel to the Reece Committee and authored an invaluable book, Foundations: Their Power and Influence, The Devin-Adair Co., NY 1958. “Foundations are an interesting phenomena that allow families of immense wealth to avoid estate and other taxes while enjoying the pleasures, power, and control that money can buy. It is interesting that while the Internal Revenue Service is hounding churches and bona fide Christian charities, it makes NO MOVE against these giants created for selfish motives. Foundations are allowed to exist because the general public, in effect, agrees to pay MORE TAXES on its earnings in order to allow foundation billions to go UNTAXED. What is the public to get in return? Charitable benefits? Foundations, therefore, should exercise the highest degree of fiduciary responsibility – but DO they?
