Mad Cows
"One thing for sure: Jesus said and there shall be famines, AND PESTILENCES (Matthew 24:7, last). According to Webster's Unabridged Dictionary, pestilence means communicable disease. It certainly has been proven that BSE and CJD are communicable. Jesus spoke this to His disciples in response to their question: 'What would be the sign of [His] coming and of the end of the world [age]?' His answer was for those alive in the LAST DAYS!!! He also told them these were 'the BEGINNING of sorrows' (v.10).
There is more. Jesus inspired the book of Revelation. It was to show events 'in the day of the Lord' - the END TIME that would lead up to His return as 'King of kings and Lord of lords.' He inspired John to write about seals that he would open to His servant's understanding. The Third Seal viewed a 'black horse.' It's rider had a pair of balances with which to weigh out very carefully what food there was for money available to them. THIS IS FAMINE. FOOD SHORTAGES AND A VERY LIMITED SUPPLY OF MONEY TO PROCURE IT.
Chapter 6 then revealed a Fourth Horse that was pale. Death and Hell [the Greek word means 'the grave'] was to consume 1/4th of the earth. Notice, it was not just war that killed, rather HUNGER [famine] - FOOD SHORTAGES. It also said with the beasts of the earth. COULD IT BE DISEASED BEASTS THAT KILL HUMAN KIND? "
