DECEPTION THROUGH GRACE!

HOW?

There is much misunderstanding in the Christian community concerning WHO has IMMORTALITY. But if we believe the scriptures and NOT the false concepts of men, we can know! Notice what Paul wrote to Timothy as instruction for him UNTIL THE COMING OF CHRIST! I Tim. 6:13-14, "I give thee CHARGE in the sight of God - THAT THOU KEEP THE COMMANDMENT, without spot, unrebukeable, UNTIL THE APPEARING OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST:" Did you catch that? Paul instructed Timothy to KEEP the ten commandments during the entire interim period until Christ returns. But why? I Jn. 3:4 states "Sin is the transgression of the law" (ten commandments). Then it should be clear WHY Paul instructed Timothy to KEEP the ten commandments; Rom. 6:23, "...the wages (payment received) of sin IS DEATH" (not immortality in hell). For Paul describes to Timothy the God family - Jesus Christ and God the Father - "WHO ONLY HATH IMMORTALITY,..." (I Tim. 6:1516).

If the God family ONLY has immortality, then what was one of the purposes for Jesus' coming into the world? It is found in II Tim. 1:9-10, "Who (God) hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works but according to his own purpose and GRACE, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, But is now made manifest (known) by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who (Jesus Christ) hath abolished death, and hath brought Life; AND IMMORTALITY to light through the gospel." We, as human beings, deserve only death for our works (Rom. 6:23). it is because we deserve death (not eternal life in hell) that Jesus came into the world. He came to reveal that the death penalty can be abolished, and you can now have hope of eternal LIFE AND IMMORTALITY. Notice how Paul wrote it: Rom. 2:7-8, "To them (Christians) who by patient continuance in well doing SEEK for glory and honour and IMMORTALITY, ETERNAL LIFE: But unto them that are contentious, and DO NOT OBEY (so God does require obedience) the truth, but OBEY UNRIGHTEOUSNESS (Ps. I 19:172 clearly states that all ten of God's commandments are righteousness, so breaking any one of them become unrighteousness), indignation and wrath."

Paul explained very clearly in the preceding scriptures that humans are NOT IMMORTAL, rather are NOW SEEKING IMMORTALITY. Why have you been told that you have immortal life either in heaven or in hell? Why haven't you been told that the penalty for sin is DEATH? It's absence of life - NO immortality in hell. why haven't you been told that OBEDIENCE to God's law (ten commandments) is necessary to avoid sinning? and therefore avoid the death penalty?

Jude's Warning of Deception

Jude 3-5, "Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should EARNESTLY CONTEND FOR THE FAITH WHICH WAS ONCE DELIVERED UNTO THE SAINTS. (BUT WHY?) For there are certain men crept in unawares ... ungodly men, TURNING THE GRACE OF OUR GOD INTO LASCIVIOUSNESS and DENYING the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ."

Notice that ungodly men have infiltrated into the church and through a false teaching are causing Christians to DENY Jesus Christ. But how? By turning GRACE into LASCIVIOUSNESS ! ! !

The meaning of the word grace in the Greek language is: "To dignify by an act of favor." Notice how God has favored the human race and dignified us. Rom. 3:24-25, "Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is IN Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that ARE PAST, through the forbearance of God;" Jesus Christ has dignified those who have accepted His shed blood by forgiving their PAST SINS. I Jn. 3:4 states clearly that "sin is the TRANSGRESSION of the law (ten commandments)." The grace which Jesus has extended is the forgiveness of sins in our past life. But these ungodly deceivers are changing the grace (forgiveness) of God into "lasciviousness."
