Dear Newswatch Listeners/Readers:
It is deeply humbling that more and more people are seeking to learn deeper truths about God from this ministry. I only wish that I could answer each letter personally, visit each one of you in your home; but that is an impossibility.
I thank each one of you for the financial support you have given to this ministry. Your confidence will never be betrayed. Every contribution goes to pay for radio, printing, office supplies, cassette tapes, etc. The Bible shows clearly that disciples of Jesus are to provide the needs of the ministry.
One of the most asked questions is why we are speaking so boldly concerning the rise of international socialism, humanism, communism - the final beast power of Revelation 13 and 17? And why we are calling for repentance of violating God's "Everlasting Covenant"?
I cannot speak for other ministers as to why they teach and preach as they do. I only know why I MUST continue to speak boldly on behalf of the only Saviour, Jesus Christ. It seems that the professing Christian community today seeks miracles as a proof of someone's ministry, yet John prepared the way for Jesus and did no miracles.
I had been studying the Bible for many years, writing articles and sending them to other groups to publish. In May and June of 1980 something very strange began to happen to me.
For two months, I didn't seem to sleep at all. Of course I did sleep, but not very much. Scriptures continued to run through my mind day and night. They wouldn't stop. People began to tell me I was working too hard, needed rest.
Meanwhile, I had asked a printer to design a front cover for Newswatch Magazine. I couldn't concentrate on work, recreation, anything. Finally, I started studying the Holy Spirit and found that God would use His spirit to stir up people or someone to perform a certain task.
I finally understood that our Lord Jesus Christ called me to start this ministry. What I was to do was a mystery to me.
On June 23, 1980 I took four articles to our printer for the first Newswatch Magazine. Suddenly the scriptures that had been running through my mind day and night stopped. Great peace came over me. I, and I alone of all the billions on earth, knew God had called me for the ministry. No one else can know except by the "fruit" and your proving everything I say by scripture. The Bible is the only word of God.
When Ezekiel 3 and 17 states clearly that when someone sees warfare coming they must warn the people or their blood will be upon his (the watchman's) head. I know God has called me to tell this nation, or those who will listen, that repentance, BIBLICAL REPENTANCE - will either come or this nation will be destroyed and become a regional bureau in a slave condition to the "scarlet colored beast." Sin is the violating of God's "Everlasting Covenant," and Jesus came to shed "the blood of the Everlasting Covenant" for YOU. Godly repentance means change from breaking His covenant to obeying (keeping) it.
