Dear Newswatch Listeners/Readers:

Every religion has its ideas about the make-up of man and his destiny. Since I have proven that God exists, I know that I can rely upon claims or statements that He says He has inspired. I don't have to consider, ponder, re-evaluate, or doubt whether His personal Book - the Bible - is true or not. There is NO doubt that His words that explain WHAT man was designed for are true!

Paul said in Acts 4:12 that "there is no other name under heaven whereby men MUST be saved." Since God the Father and Jesus were in the "beginning" at man's creation together, Jesus should know what He is talking about (Jn. 1:1-3). They BOTH were there overseeing the original creation (Gen. 1:1,26). God the Father delegated the actual work of creation and the making of our first parents to Jesus (Col. 1:12-18). Jesus, as the God of the Old Testament, brought Israel out of Egyptian bondage and ushered them into the promised land (1 Cor. 10:1-4). Jesus inspired ALL the Holy Prophets of old.

Jesus had those writers of the Old Testament record HOW He made man, of WHAT composition, and the ultimate future of man in his obedient state or in a rebellious state. Jesus had these same prophets to define rewards for obedience or curses for disobedience. He inspired writers of the New Testament to further define in detail rewards for obedience and the curse for ultimate disobedience.

Jesus also inspired writings to reveal a "spirit" world composed of faithful and disobedient angels - or messengers. Various passages describe activities that are taking place behind the scenes among these different beings. Some are seeking the welfare of man, while others seek to destroy man's relationship with his Maker. Jesus reveals that man will be delivered from this evil they are trying to hoist upon him (Rom. 16:20).

The inspired writings also reveal that ALL the world has been deceived by the arch-enemy of God and man - Satan and the devil (Rev. 12:9). Isaiah even revealed that this spiritual blindness would continue until the cities were laid waste by nuclear war and possibly chemical/biological weapons of mass destruction (Isa. 6:9-13). But God also revealed that a "few" in comparison to the whole population would have their spiritual blindness removed and understand WHAT He is doing with the human race. These are called "firstfruits" (James 1:18) and are looking for a BETTER resurrection (Heb. 11:35b). Better automatically signifies a lesser.

There is a major significance in being called today and understanding WHAT God is doing with the human race, who will receive a "better" resurrection, and what part those individuals will play in the future. Many are called but FEW are chosen. Out of all that Jesus calls, very few will respond with an endurance until the end as required. Jesus is calling people to become kings and priests to rule with Him during the thousand year reign as He brings salvation to a lost and dying world (Rev. 5:10; Rev. 20:4). It is ONLY to those individuals who OVERCOME will Jesus crown and allow to become rulers over His kingdom with Him (Rev. 2 & 3; Dan. 7:18,22,27).

To those rebellious angels and wicked spirits that are deceiving mankind will also come a reward. It will be quite different than man's reward unless some men remain in rebellion to their Maker. God the Father and Jesus Christ loves the whole human race. They do not want any to perish (Jn. 3:16-17). It is inevitable that some will perish. They will not repent and turn to Jesus with their whole heart and accept His sacrifice of death instead of paying the penalty for their own sins. There will be a place in which the administration of death will be administered. "The wages of sin IS death" (Rom. 6:23). Satan, his angels, and many human beings will not accept the ONLY pardon of the penalty of death, therefore, they MUST DIE to satisfy the righteous judgement of the law - death for violating it.

This will be the Lake that burns with fire and brimstone "which is the second death" (Rev. 21:8). Satan and his angels along with the remaining rebellious people will be cast into it (Matt. 25:41). Righteousness will prevail.

Sincerely,
