Dear Newswatch Magazine Listeners/Readers:
As saints of God, we have been "watching" world news in the light of Bible prophecy for years. It seemed for so long that very little was being accomplished to bring Revelation 13 and Daniel 2:44-45 to pass. Both state that world government will occur - "bear rule over all the earth" - by this Beast that rises.
The nations are to be broken down into Ten global grouping of nations based upon economic and political considerations. That is why they "will not cleave together" in complete harmony - too many differences!
The United States is becoming more isolated from the remainder of the United Nations in that the other nations WANT what they are terming global governance, which is nothing more than a cover up for WORLD GOVERNMENT. The U.S. has drug its feet because of its Constitution. Those working for World Government and eliminating our national sovereignty are working with great fervor to destroy our Constitutional Rights guaranteed to us by the Bill of Rights.
Look what the September 11, 2001, tragedy has accomplished for those promoting World Government: 1) They have for all practical purposes nationalized/socialized airport security, and it is being enforced BY THE MILITARY. 2) They have hurriedly passed into law Bills that were not even read nor made available until after the vote. According to Represent-ative Ron Paul, R-TX, the USA Patriot Act was the opposite of its name. It has effectively stripped Americans of fundamental rights requiring search warrants. This Bill waves the necessity of a warrant to secretly go into your home and search it, only to tell you months later.
Other Bills pertaining to smallpox vaccinations, and others, could be used to round up private citizens and herd them into stadiums for quarantine against their will at gun point by the military. The military [National Guard] has now been deputized to be used in police service in Washington, D.C. This is setting the stage for Americans to accept military occupation.
The U.S. has 30 AWACS planes. Only 5 were sent to Afghanistan for use. WHY DID NATO [U.N.] SEND FIVE FOREIGN AWACS PLANES TO FLY AMERICA'S SKIES WHEN WE STILL HAD 25 OTHERS?
Henry Kissinger once said that Americans would never let U.N. foreign troops patrol its streets UNLESS there was an OUTSIDE THREAT to our security. It is interesting that September 11, 2001, brought exactly the required threat to allow foreign U.N. [NATO] troops into America. Will there be another act of terrorism that will cause American's to call for U.N. foreign ground troops to protect our security?
After all, we all heard President Bush and others state that each "terrorist" harboring country would be invaded and a U.N. friendly government installed. As Senator Pete Domenici of New Mexico said, a New World Order can come out of this. It is developing before our eyes right now.
As a result of these rapidly developing events, each saint of God should certainly take stock of his or her life. Are you obeying the commandments of God? After all, "sin is the transgression of the law" (1 John 3:4). Are you actively "overcoming" the "lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life?" Are you diligently seeking to development the "fruit of the Spirit" (Galatians 5:22-23) and "divine nature" of God (2 Peter 1:4-11) by the power of the Holy Spirit? That's the only way it can be achieved! Are you seeking to live by "every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God" (Matthew 4:4)?
Are the "traditions of men" more important to us than God's Word in the Bible if the two contradict each other? Is the "love of God" more important to us than seeking our own selfish way? Is loving others AS we love ourselves becoming reality in our lives? If not, why not? Jesus said: "A new commandment I give unto you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. BY THIS [love] SHALL ALL MEN KNOW THAT YOU ARE MY DISCIPLES, IF YOU HAVE LOVE ONE TO ANOTHER" (John 13:34-35).
God is looking around now to see WHO will submit to Him with all their heart. WHY? When the GREAT TRIBULATION [Matthew 24:21-22] hits this earth, there will those called the ELECT that will be obeying God. As a result, He will cut those days "short" of human annihilation - BECAUSE OF THEM (Matthew 24:22, last part). Will YOU be one of the Elect? God is sorting out the hearts of men today. How will you fair when the real hard times come?
