Dear Newswatch Magazine Listeners/Readers:
M ikhail Gorbachev was once the head of the Russian dreaded KGB. He was directly responsible for the imprisonment and killing of millions of human beings in Russia and the satellite countries surrounding it.
He was supposedly the last leader of the old Soviet Union. But those who have read their Plans know that the rift between Gorbachev and Boris Yeltsin was all fake to cause the West to believe Communism was dying. As a result, the West, meaning the United States would disarm, no longer having a seen enemy.
When President George W. Bush was inaugurated, he received an open letter from Gorbachev. This letter was published in the Washington Post. He started the letter by saying "I am writing to you as a citizen of our planet." This statement projected Gorbachev above presidents, prime ministers or world leaders in his own mind. He said that "American spokesmen are perhaps somewhat overly inclined to press home to the rest of the world" their claim of world leader. Gorbachev wrote that everyone acknowledges America's power, but America's world leadership is "not similarly recognized." He went on to say that the 21st Century does NOT belong to America. He explained that globalization should NOT proceed along American lines.
Gorbachev said it would be a mistake for the 21st Century to be Americanized and would even be "dangerous." America is RICH in comparison to Russia and the remainder of the Communist world. They pretended collapse so Western money and technology would pour into Russia. Gorbachev can hardly contain himself with the prospects of the destruction of the West. He said, "it is time for America's electorate to be told the blunt truth." According to Gorbachev, "the present situation of the United States ...is not tenable as long as an enormous portion of the world lives in abject poverty, degradation and backwardness." He then expressed the Marxist theory of re-distribution of the wealth - that no nation should be prosperous while so many others are poor. According to the Communist dialectics, this means there must remain conflicts such as wars. Everyone must become the same for there to be peace. "Take from the haves and give to the have nots." This could be called "planetary class conflict," where the poor nations rise up against the rich. Gorbachev wrote: "there has been no 'pacification.' On the contrary, there has been an heightening of inequalities, tension and hostility, with most of the last [hostility] directed toward the United States." Gorby conveniently fails to say WHO is responsible for directing this hostility.
We know that Russia and China have organized a new alliance. Gorby even said America won NO victory in the Cold War. He said: "Instead of seeing an increase in U.S. security, the end of the Cold War has seen a DECLINE [in security]."
Will President Bush agree with this assessment? Russia and China are waiting to see. Or will Bush disregard Gorbachev's letter and assessment concerning security. Think about what Gorbachev has written: the end of the Cold War has weakened America's global position. America's Cold War, so-called, victory engineered by none other than Gorbachev himself, was NO victory at all for America. This is a strange admission from the man who brought the world glasnost and perestroika.
Dr. Nikolay Popov wrote on March 1, 1989 in the Literaturnaya Gazeta: "glasnost is our PARITY, restructuring is our WEAPON, and destalinization is our main ammunition." Gorbachev NEUTRALIZED anti-communism in the West. Now look at the political climate of the West. We see Socialists in control in Britain, in Germany, and elsewhere. Europe has been restructured! All that was required was Gorbachev's repudiation of the Stalinist past, along with lip-service to an alleged democratic future, and the admission that America won the Cold War. But in reality America's defensive structures have nearly been dismantled.
We must understand whether Communism has collapsed or their programs are now in place for the kill!!! Gorbachev wrote that "under present circumstances, relations between the United States, on the one hand, and China, India and all the rest of the earth that lives in abject poverty, on the other hand, could develop in a positive direction." Envy and jealousy is a form of hatred that can become very dangerous. In discussing the United States, Chinese Lt. General Mi Zhenyu said that "it will be absolutely necessary that we [Chinese] quietly nurse our sense of vengeance." He then stated: "We must CONCEAL our [military] abilities and bide our time."
China has a real problem with the political and military might of America and shows direct malice toward the U.S. This is fueled by Communism and Chinese Nationalism.
The direct results of a nuclear-armed superpower that hates America, that carries with it the paranoid nationalism of a revolutionary Islamic state, and the expansionist ambitions of a Soviet Union, is very frightening. Imagine a long-range plan of deception in which the Soviet Union's dictator announces to the world that Communism has been defeated and leaves office for the United States. The PLANNED results have been very successful: 1) America's air force shrank from 37 wings to 13; 2) America's Army divisions shrank from 27 to 10; 3) America's Navy shrank from 560 warships to 300. Then comes the elimination of tactical nuclear weapons from America's navy and army. Hundreds of missiles and thousands of strategic warheads are scrapped. At the same time, both Russia and China are building.
According to former CIA and Defense Intelligence Agency analyst, Bill Lee, the Communist [Russia in particular] always violate their arms control agreements while the United States honors them. Lee stated that "the U.S. persisted in the naïve belief that its satellites could verify all agreements and treaties." Lee says Russia has thousands of hidden "refire" missiles. Lee also said the U.S. has underestimated Russia's "ability to conceal weapons production and stockage on a very large scale."
Has the balance of power shifted? Russia and China think so because they have come to mutual agreements on HOW to deal with the United States with "one clenched fist" - not two! Leonid Brezhnev has stated in the past that the U.S. could not withstand an assault by the combined forces of Russia, China and India along with the African Communists. A recent UPI headline read: "India Slides Into Sino-Russo Orbit."
Now, with President George W. Bush desiring a missile defense shield, China has stated that "war with the United States is inevitible."
Gorbachev told Bush in his open letter that "the United States has continued to operate along an ideological track identical to the one it followed during the Cold War." This means Gorbachev believes America is still the enemy of Russia and China - Communism. The belief that America is the enemy of the world belongs to the Iranians, Iraqis, North Koreans, Libyans, Russians and the Chinese. These nations want to see America destroyed. They seek a prey with much goods to split between them - the United States.
America has sent billions in food aid and technology to Russia to help her people. This they turned over to the military while their people continued to go hungry. Russia has turned everything backwards. Every helping hand of low-interest loans, foodstuffs and technology are now considered acts of aggression. Understand the Communist philosophy: if we bomb them, we are evil. If we feed them, we are evil. Russian and Chinese Communist missiles are aimed at America! DON'T EVER THINK OTHERWISE!!! Our children and grandchildren have NO DEFENSE against our enemy - COMMUNISM! Physical, that is. There is a Great God that can see our hearts and minds. He knows who are His and will be protected (Revelation 12:13-17; Psalms 91; Revelation 7:1-4; 14:1-5).
