Dear Newswatch Magazine Listeners/Readers:
Certain of mankind has always
sought to control and impose
their will over the lives of the
remainder of the people. This
happened in the earliest of
antiquity.
After a great flood that reduced
the population had ravaged the
earth, man started over. It was
not long until a man named
Nimrod began to rule and build
cities. He taught the people to
rebel against the laws that a
Great God had set in motion for
our welfare. He built the mighty
tower of Babel. It was recorded
that the languages of the world
were created and placed into the
minds of the different races to
separate them, so they would
occupy the whole earth, not just
a small segment of it.
After the population was
scattered along language lines,
others began to usurp authority
by force over segments of the
population, then spread out to
the known world. Such rises in
power came from Assyria, Egypt,
Babylon, the Medo-Persian
Empire, the Greco-Macedonian
Empire, and finally followed by
the mighty Roman Empire. These
were the nations that came into
contact with Israel, God's people
that He raised up to show the
world the correct way to live.
Finally, Rome collapsed. It had
a comeback called the Holy
Roman Empire. This Imperial
Restoration of the Roman
Empire began in 554 AD when
the Pope of Rome crowned
Justinian. The kingdom was
further perpetuated when
Charlemagne was crowned by
the Pope in 774 AD. In each of
these cases, it became a
political/religious dictatorship
over the common people. No
deviation from the accepted
STATE religion was tolerated.
Otto the Great continued the
dynasty when he was coronated
in 962 AD by the Pope of Rome.
This was followed by the
Hapsburg dynasty when Charles
the Great was crowned, once
again, by a religious power from
Rome. Another Pope later
crowned Napolean in 1805. This
1260 years of a political/religious
dicatatorship combination came
to an end EXACTLY as the
Bible prophesied it would in
1814 with Napolean's defeat at
Waterloo.
The Pope of Rome announced
on worldwide television during
the weekend of March 11-12,
2000, that he
was asking forgiveness for all of its misconduct
throughout the centuries since it has been in power.
Once again, it shows the utter abuse of power that has
existed in EVERY kingdom that has ever been in
control. IS IT ANY DIFFERENT TODAY?
Other dynasties existed in China, Japan, Tibet and
other nations. Very few ever had a benevolent
government that was not oppressive. The problem
with mankind in general seems to be one of greed and
abuse of authority. Men cannot seem to rule for the
good of the people, but rather for the exaltation of the
ones in power.
World War 1 started and became the worst
destructive event in world history up to that time.
During the war, the nation of Russia was overthrown
for International Communism. There has not been a
single Communist country that the rulers have not
been abusive and killed all opposition. Once again,
even with modern technology, men in rulership
positions have proven failures in bringing their
subjects Utopia or anything close.
World War II came onto the scene with all the
brutality that could be mustered up. The use of
wonderful inventions to make our lives easier were
quickly converted to military MISuse. Hitler claimed
to have the "final" solution that would produce
peace. Eliminate all people that he believed were
inferior to his race. That final solution saw Jews,
gypsies, Communist and many Christians slaughtered
wholesale. How could all these rulers misuse and
abuse their power so frequently?
In Luke 4:5-6 of the Bible, it tells of a "spiritual"
unseen battle for world domination. One who is
identified as Satan, the devil, said power was GIVEN
to him to rule the nations and give that rulership to
whomsoever he wanted. The Great God has given
permission for this ungodly ruler to delegate
authority to human beings. The "Evil One" stands
behind their rulership and lusts insatiably for power.
He gives these rulers his destructive power. Will the
U.N. be different? It was founded by members of the
Council on Foreign Relations, Communism and the
Illuminati. The Illuminati members are worshippers
of Lucifer/Satan!
