Dear Newswatch Magazine Listeners/Readers:
T he original disciples wondered WHEN the kingdom of God would be established. Jesus gave them a general outline of events in Matthew 24 that would be sign posts. Such as wars, rumors of wars, world wars, disease epidemics, pestilences, persecution of "believers," etc.
Then He became more specific concerning the surrounding of Jerusalem - the setting up of the abomination of desolation in the holy place. He had previously revealed this abomination to Daniel the prophet (Daniel 9:24-27). No wonder the language He used was nearly the same - He was the Lord God of the holy prophets (1 Corinthians 10:1-4).
Jesus then became VERY specific. He said that a time would be reached - the last generation - where it would be possible to annihilate ALL humans beings off this planet. Times would become so intense that it would be difficult to remain alive. BUT, He also said that He would save LIFE on this planet BECAUSE of the "very elect."
When we look around the world, we do see revolutionary wars of "liberation" by Communism. We have witnessed through American history two world wars.
We have seen earthquake activity increase around the world. Every since the Extremely Low Frequency Magnetic generators started emitting its waves, we have seen earthquake activity increase both in numbers and intensity. We have witnessed weather modification. We seldom see those light rains that lasted two or three days that soaked into the soil. They are usually violate thunder storms accompanied by lightning and possibly tornadoes.
We witnessed for thirty-five years the continual build-up of nuclear weapons. In 1954 we saw the potential to destroy a world through atomic power. Since then, we have seen the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction that could annihilate 50 worlds like ours. EVERY WEAPON EVER DEVISED BY MAN THUS FAR HAS BEEN USED!!! The United States has been disarming in accordance with Treaties, but Russia has not. They have even more advanced weapons than ever in larger numbers. Combine that with China and North Korea's proliferation of weapons of mass destruction WITH Ezekiel 38, and you know they will be used.
The Book of Revelation even goes into deeper specifics. The first horse revealed worldwide religious deception. The second horse saw Red Communism instigating wars of "liberation" to take peace from the earth and kill men. It CANNOT be denied that this has been happening throughout the 20th Century right on into the 21st Century.
The third horse of Revelation 6 foresees an economic collapse combined with FOOD shortages. Genetic engineering is tampering with the very genetic codes that God built in food, so it would reproduce after its kind. The effects upon the body are unknowns; BUT, if bugs and mice will not eat the foods that have been genetically altered, humans certainly should not. Then the Mad Cow Disease that could be destroying the food chain (more June 9, 2001).
The fourth horse certainly reveals death over a large part of the earth by war, famine, pestilence, and whatever else man has devised to destroy. When Christ comes at the Seventh Trump, He will destroy them that are destroying the earth (Revelation 11:18).
This calamity of the fourth horse will open wide the opportunity to "blame Christians" and persecution will begin the world over - EVEN in America! Christians had better make sure they are LIVING God's ways, not pretending, because Jesus said in Luke 21:36 to "watch and pray always that we may be ACCOUNTED WORTHY to escape all these things that shall come to pass." WHY? The danger of annihilation is coming rapidly after the persecution.
The sixth seal reveals a GREAT earthquake. Could it be caused by the gravitational pull of another heavenly body as it approaches earth's gravitational field? Immediately following this earthquake, we see TRUMPETS opened to our understanding. The first trumpet pictures a comet or meteorite that approaches and collides with earth. Coming on the heels of such a blow will be an asteroid that plunges into the ocean and kills 1/3rd of the marine life as well as 1/3rd of the shipping industry of the world and 1/3rd of the coastal cities (second trumpet). As if this weren't devastating enough, another asteroid collides with a land mass and destroys much of the fresh drinking water (third trumpet).
Problems? They are coming! The fifth trumpet opens the way for a DEMONIC invasion. CHRISTIANS HAD BETTER KNOW THEIR GOD AND THE COVENANT HE MADE WITH US!!
