Dear Newswatch Magazine Listeners/Readers:
T he United Nations was founded in September 1945. In 1947 the Genocide Convention Treaty to the United Nations was written. Because of the wording, the American Bar Association warned Congress - especially the Senate who ratifies treaties - never to ratify it. They contended that it would NOT stop Genocide from being committed by Russia or any other communist nation. They contended that it was designed to be used against private individuals.
The American Bar Association also warned Congress not to become entangled with the proposed International Criminal Court (ICC). Today, the International Criminal Court has being signed onto by 60 nations. Sure enough, the ICC has gone after individuals and has already prosecuted one and is after others. As the Dallas Morning News reported, the Court is trying to reach into yet other uncharted territory.
The American people have never been told that the Bricker Amendment that was to protect our Constitutional Rights FROM U.N. intrusions failed to pass by one vote in 1951. Former President Ronald Reagan called upon the Senate to ratify the Genocide Convention Treaty to the U.N. as his first act of his second term in office (1985). Once the Senate ratified it, every State had to pass laws to conform to the U.N. Treaty. Today, those laws are called HATE CRIME LAWS!!! All of us will recognize hearing that term - hate crime.
U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan completed a speech on August 31, 2001 at the Conference on Racism held in South Africa. He stated, and I have the video clip of his speech, that racism and hatred MUST be eliminated in the 21st Century - starting now. He used the Holocaust of the Jews during World War II as an example. Then he said that the Jews in Palestine have no right to use hatred and racism against the Palestinians. His wording made it clear that RELIGIOUS differences must not be used to create war and displacement of peoples.
The U.N. has now set the stage for intervening in the internal affairs of nations under the pretense of stopping hatred and racism. Why is this so important for Christians in America to understand this concept? Because you could never have understood certain words of Jesus Christ that was prophesied for OUR day. Christians believe correctly that Jesus Christ is the only way that leads to salvation. Under the Genocide Convention Treaty, Christians could be put on trial and convicted for causing others, whether Atheists or other religions, MENTAL HARM. This is one article discussing WHO can be punished for Genocide - causing mental harm. You may never have even thought of killing a group of people or said racial slurs but just because you held that no one could be saved outside of accepting Jesus Christ as your personal savior you could be arrested for causing mental harm. Satan is clever.
Notice Jesus' words: "Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and you shall be hated of ALL nations for my name's sake" (Matthew 24:9). Persecution will come to America when the U.N. has sufficient power to control BY MILITARY FORCE. Jesus inspired the Book of Revelation. The time setting is "the day of the Lord" (Revelation 1:10). The Book leads us up to the return of Jesus to save flesh alive on this planet (Matthew 24:21-22). Jesus stated that the 5th Seal of Revelation 6 was to be martyrdom of saints as has happened in the past. The godless U.N. will lead the way in annihilation of the saints. Jesus instructed saints who would be alive at the "close of the age." "WATCH you therefore, and PRAY always, that you may be accounted worthy TO ESCAPE all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man" (Luke 21:36).
It is my sincere hope and prayer that many will WAKE UP out of spiritual sleep before it is too late to be accounted worthy to escape all that is just over the horizon.
